This kitchen was designed for a mountain retreat. Copper accents were used on the custom vent hood and on custom brass-trimmed panels on the pantry behind the island. Even the pendants over the peninsula are copper wire.
Close-up of the vent hood and pantry. The Caesarstone countertop was inlaid with copper strip tile around the edge.
A unique fireplace graces one wall of the master bedroom. We painted everything terra cotta to draw together all of the elements. The owner's collection of western artifacts were used for accessories.
We accented the owner's leather bedspread with western-themed custom pillows. Window treatments, made from a Sante Fe printed fabric, were custom.
A spare bedroom was remodeled into this spacious master bath with vanity sinks and a shower for two. New windows take advantage of fantastic woodland views. The window seat under the window has one drawer for storage and a warming drawer appliance for warming the bath towels on chilly mornings. The slate and copper-tiled floor is also heated. Glass tile backsplash and shower tile.
We used the same green glass tile used in the master bath shower for this toilet room. Walls are faux-painted in a custom finish. Sconces are copper.
This addition has the feeling of a treehouse with a window that overlooks a wooded valley. Bedding was custom; we used the owner's artwork and existing furnishings to complete the look. Window treatments are also custom.
