Teddy Bear Nursery
This toddler's room utilized existing furnishings. We added a custom area rug, Winnie The Pooh-themed wallpaper, recovered the rocker chair and added a fun window treatment.
Teddy Bear Nursery
A tree-themed wallpaper design provides an eye-catching accent for young eyes. Heavy-duty floor tiles create a custom rug that's fine for rolling, crawling and play.
To finish off this room with the existing child's bed, we used the child's favorite pirate theme. Walls are papered in pirate maps, clouds and an animated pirate border. Carpet tiles were used in navy, red and navy tweed, durable enough for active play.
Grandkid's Attic Playroom
A long narrow attic was converted to a colorful bedroom and play space for a couple's four grandchildren. Trundle beds provide sleeping for four. Heavy duty carpet tiles, laid in a horizontal striped pattern, offer a soft play surface that's durable and easy to clean. The ceiling was painted a soft blue with clouds, parachutes and birds. At night, glow-in-the-dark stars and a moon shine on the ceiling.
Grandkid's Attic Bedroom Storage Wal
The tall wall of this attic was used for storage. The cabinet doors were painted with chalkboard paint so the kids can draw to their heart's content. To connect this room with the nursery, the entry door was outfitted with a Dutch (two-piece) door, so the top can stay open for observation by adults.
Attic Playroom Bed
The headboards for the trundle beds were custom-made to fit the slanted ceiling. "Kite" sconces provide bedside lighting. The entry door to the bedroom is a Dutch door that affords adults a view to the bedroom.
Grandkid's Attic Play Area
A tall cabinet for toy storage, wall-mounted tv and room for the Teepee. LED track lighting is out of the way and keeps the attic cooler.
Florida Kid's Room
Twin beds in this kid's guest room were dressed in seashell-themed bedding. The feature wall is a bright turquoise, reflecting the water views outside.
